The UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF 4.0) provides a systematic approach to assessing the extent to which cyber risks are being managed.

 

It is aimed at helping organisations achieve and demonstrate appropriate levels of cyber resilience to ensure organisational success and safe, secure infrastructure and business.

 

Primarily aimed at organisations subject to Network and Information Systems (NIS) Regulations, organisations within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), organisations managing cyber risk to public safety and public sector organisations that support core government functions, the design and approach contained within the framework is flexible enough to benefit all organisations, private sector and public sector, seeking to continually improve their cyber resilience capabilities.
